To pursue a tertiary education at master's level especially with a programme that is challenging by nature, there are a number of issues that a prospective student needs to consider before embarking on the programme. To name a few:

	What direction is the participant taking with his/her career?
	What is the length of time in the existing job?
	The family situation - children, newly married etc.
	Other social commitments e.g. club presidency or secretariat.
	Time available to complete studies.
	Will the workload increase in the next 12 months or so?
	Is the candidate looking for a credential only or seeking cutting edge business knowledge?
	Can one afford a minimum average of 2-3 hours per day on study.
