Emirates Aviation College - Aerospace and Academic Studies – was established in 1991 by the Department of Civil Aviation, initially to provide aviation-related training to private students and corporate organisations.

The college has since expanded and diversified and now offers an extensive range of educational opportunities designed to give students a firm foundation for success in their career pathways.In September 2001, the college was merged with Emirates to form the "Academic Wing" of the Emirates Group.

The college offers a variety of standard and tailored career programmes to meet the personnel requirements of the Aerospace, Travel and Tourism, Business Management and Air Traffic Control industries.
