| Residence visas
can be available for full time registered students
only. |
| Students from overseas, wishing
to attend entrance tests, are responsible for arranging
their own visit visa. |
| Students are responsible for
processing charges at Immigration, the charges for
the UAE Health Card as well as the medical clearance
certificate. |
| A student’s residence
visa is normally valid for 12 months. For students
studying 2 or 3 year programmes, there will need
to be 2 or 3 visa renewals. The actual processing
charges will be borne by the student on each occasion
at the existing Immigration Department rate. |
| All students sponsored by the
College must lodge their passports with the administration.
Those students who need their passports for leaving
the country or any other purpose will have their
passport returned, subject to approval, on application
for the required duration. |
| Where a student wishes to terminate
his/her studies prior to the expiry of the visa,
the visa will be cancelled immediately and the student
will have to make arrangements to leave the country
or seek other sponsorship. |
| Failure to make suitable arrangements
for payment of fees in advance per semester may
lead to the termination of the sponsorship. |
| Students whose applications
are rejected by Immigration will have their tuition
fees refunded (on a pro-rata basis). Any official
processing charges incurred will be borne by the
student. |
