Two year programme
Overview
Attending the BTEC National Diploma programme will provide you with comprehensive training for a technical career within the aircraft industry. Like the BTEC National Certificate, the successful completion of this course entitles you to apply for the BTEC Higher Diploma programme and progress towards obtaining EASA part 66 “aircraft maintenance license”.
Entry requirements for this course
- Five recent GCSEs at grade 'C' or above including Mathematics and Physics or;
- High School certificate (or equivalent qualifications) or;
- A First Diploma in Engineering
- You should be a minimum of 16 years old
Note: Candidates with grades below those stated above will be offered the BTEC First Diploma programme, subject to the relevant requirements.

Completion of the total required number of units will entitle you to a BTEC National Diploma. The above combination of units may, however, be subject to change.
