Overview

Through this intensive diploma programme, you will develop the necessary skills, techniques, personal qualities and attitudes for a successful career in your chosen profession, or for further academic studies such as the BTEC National Diploma.

Entry requirements for this course

• You should have successfully completed your education up to at least Year 10, or:
• Hold two GCSEs minimum grade ‘D’, or equivalent qualifications

What you will be studying
3 Core Units:

• Exploring Business Purposes
• Developing Customer Relations
• Investigating Financial Control
• Plus three specialist units from the following:
• Business Communications
• People in Organisations
• Providing Business and Administration Support
• Personal Selling
• Conducting Business Online
• Exploring Business Enterprise
• Starting a Small Business

Completion of the total required number of units will entitle you to a BTEC First Diploma. The above combination of units may, however, be subject to change.
